Greetings Flowriding Enthusiasts,
Wave Loch and Wave House are proud to announce the first ever international flowriding competition on the FlowRider. The competition is called The World FlowRIder Championships and is intended to bring together the best flow boarders and bodyboarders in the sport. The winners of the WFC finals will go on to compete in theInternational FLOW Championships, the most prestigious competition in the sport of flowriding.
The World FlowRider Championships finals will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Wave House Sentosa in Singapore. Prior to the Singapore competition, there will be regional competitions to select winners that will go on to Singapore to compete in the finals. There will be three regions holding qualifying competitions for the WFC: USA, Europe and Asia. Each region will select their top male and female flowboarder and top bodyboarder that will comprise their team. Regional winners will earn airfare and accommodations to Singapore and will have preferred seeding in the finals.
For those riders who do not win at the regional level or are unable to attend the regional qualifiers, there will be Wild Card spots available in the World FlowRider Championship finals in Singapore. Wild Card riders will be responsible to pay their own airfare and accommodations.
The top 2 male flowboarders, top female flowboarder and top bodyboarder of the World FlowRider Championships finals will form the World FlowRider Champions team and will compete in the International FLOW Championships against team USA, SA, Chile, Singapore and UAE at Wave House Sentosa from October 29-31, 2010.
