Ogden, Utah – August 13-14: The 2010 Wave Loch FLOW Tour came to an exciting close this weekend with the National Championships taking place in Ogden, Utah. The competition in the Master’s division was intense, I feel honored to be crowned a Tour Champion in a sport I so enjoy. I hope that the finals in Utah will bring an increased awareness to the sport and it will continue to grow.”

Prior to the Singapore competition, there will be regional competitions to select winners that will go on to Singapore to compete in the finals. There will be three regions holding qualifying competitions for this event: USA, Europe and Asia. Each region will select their top male and female flowboarder and top bodyboarder that will comprise their team. Regional winners will earn airfare and accommodations to Singapore and will have preferred seeding in the finals.

For those riders who do not win at the regional level or are unable to attend the regional qualifiers, there will be Wild Card spots available in the World FlowRider Championship finals in Singapore. Wild Card riders will be responsible to pay their own airfare and accommodations.

The top 2 male flowboarders, top female flowboarder and top bodyboarder of the World FlowRider Championships finals will form the World FlowRider Champions team and will compete in the International FLOW Championships against USA, SA, Chile, Singapore and UAE at Wave House Sentosa from October 29-31, 2010.

Please note that a rider may only represent 1 team at the International FLOW Championships. As an example, if a rider has qualified for the Wave House Sentosa International FLOW Championships team, they will not be eligible to compete for Asia in World FlowRider Championships and vice versa.
